Where Can I Try Your Food??

This is a question we often encounter from guests as they scoff down our food at a private event. While we love the positive feedback we receive, it's hard to turn around and tell them that we rarely do any public trading events unless we can guarantee it will be a busy one. Markets & "Food Truck" events we feel will eventually be a thing of the past.
The sad truth is that most markets are catered more towards a breakfast and early lunch crowd for food and let's be honest, most people have eaten before they leave the house but may not of had a coffee, so the food option becomes redundant. Markets also heavily rely on foot traffic and advertising. So if the weather is forecast to have showers, that can cut the foot traffic out by more than half and even sometimes, entirely. That makes it difficult for a food vendor to commit to markets when there is so much uncertainty involved. This is not an ideal situation for food wastage!

Another thing to consider is that we have ourselves, been in the food truck industry for nearly 10 years. This has given us a solid foundation of repeat clients/word of mouth referrals and experience to work with. Private events allow us to properly shop and prepare the correct amount of food for each event that allows no food wastage and loss on staff costs.
So the answer to your question?? Follow us on social media to find out where we will be ;)
We do love our public trading events BUT with everything mentioned in this blog post it will be a little easier to understand why we try and stick with our private catered events (weddings, birthdays etc)
Thanks for reading!
